I grew up in the United Kingdom and so received my formal education there, including primary (elementary), secondary (high school) and university education, as follows:

• I received 12 GCSEs (taken at age 16), with 9 "A" grades and 3 "B" grades. These covered a wide range of subjects including several languages (English language and literature, Spanish, German and French), sciences (Physics and Chemistry), mathematics (both basic and advanced), history and politics.
• I also received 3 A-Levels (taken when 18) in Politics, Economics and Spanish, all with A Grades.
• I attended the University of Manchester, in the North of England, where I obtained a BA (Hons) in Politics and Psychology, also taking classes in sociology, philosophy, and anthropology.

My formal education gives me a good grounding in a wide range of subjects, as well as good training in the methods of both the sciences and the social sciences. In addition, taken together with my jobs to date, this training has given me very strong writing skills, allowing me to write quickly but also clearly and persuasively.
